Sasuke Tango, Prius Prime 2024

Added 15600 kms onto my new car Sasuke already, since January when I first got the car.

Initially the colour put me off from loving it right away, it's just way too dark to the shade of blue that I don't really like.  I mean, blue is my favourite colour, but dark navy is that one shade that's at the bottom of my gradient scale.

After the US-CA road trip, we built a nice relationship after going through some very rough terrain that made me feel anxious.  Sasuke and I handled it quite well, and we safely reached civilization.

I'm appreciating the car a lot more!

Yes... I read both manuals.  It was a looooooong read.

今晚跟姐的一家吃飯, 本來輕鬆開心的圍爐, 突然被位於地球另一邊吃飽飯沒事做的堂哥 and 堂嫂連串電話打擾, 連我爸也理智線爆炸, 血壓飆升臉通紅.

經過激烈的長輩教訓後輩, 掛電話後就是熱辣辣的家族史大透露.  JUICY!

結論是... 某些男人就是 M 屬性, 注定被強勢的女人支配一生.  這更令我堅決單身一人, 好好享受沒有束縛的人生!  感情 - 錢 - 權力, 三個令世人混亂的事物, 有夠煩.

掃興了與家人共聚的時光, 又延遲我今晚 Finale 的趕工, 還要在我忙的時候繼續 whatsapp 煩我把我夾在事件的中間.  幹!  真的吃飽沒事做.

明晚要多搓幾個湯圓吃壓壓驚, 然後 google 個打小人的作法去晦氣.

Thankful

I'm slowly settling into the music copying industry finally.  Thanks to Larysa's connection to Counterpoint, I've been given a second work to copy by another composer from the publisher.

Somewhere down the road, I might just have to start investing into buying and learning Sibelius afresh.
But deep down, I just have this moaning distrust with the software and layout, so eventually I'll have to overcome this since Sibelius is equally used by musicians.

Hopefully I'm going to get more work and get my name across more publishers in the next couple years.
I do feel a lot more at ease working in print, like when I was working on plates and proofs with books at my sister's ex-company.

Happy to be alive!

Enjoying a few loopings of Rachmaninoff Symphony 2 while working on the harp project (again?!) after being on pause for a good month or two.  Finally getting around the new Finale version a little better.
Can't imagine the world without this wonderful Russian.
Been trying to locate my CDs of his piano concerti, but can't find them anywhere!  My brain and my disc library are both mysteriously disappearing! 😂

Tomorrow marks my 40th year on Earth, 41st if you count the year incognito.
Planned my day around being out getting my free stuff from various bubble tea places and cake pickups.
That's right, I'm having TWO cakes! 🍰😋🍰
One is a free fruit cake from T&T and the other is a non-free chestnut cake from Soho that my mum likes.
Still have to order my vegetarian takeout.
Trying to squeeze the most out of one single day. 💪
Just figured out what to order for the vegetarian dinner.  Will be ordering from 知味齋.
And will be ordering vegetarian curries from Bhai for my lunar birthday, if I have a day off.

I took a road trip to Huntsville with Mahsa on my 30th.
So much have happened in the 10 years since then.
Yet, I still feel like that high school student who barely graduated high school with a passing grade and somehow ended up with two OSSD... 😵
My body on the other hand is definitely a 40-year old.  LOL!
