I've always wanted a fruit tree, multiple fruit trees actually, in the backyard.
And if I could have the say in how things grow in there, I'd make the center yard a complete vegetable and fruit garden instead of just grass and weed - mostly weed.
But I've been doing research all morning... the white mulberry tree is an Asian invasive species, endangering the red mulberry trees that's native only to Ontario. However, it's very difficult locating a nursery that explicitly tell you which variety they sell, if they even sell mulberry trees.
Seems like it's not a very popular plant in the market. I might have to call every single nursery in town to see if they carry any red mulberry seedlings.

Target
I don't know what it is about me, but hardcore Christians always have a mission to make me one too.
I have no problems with Catholics, they are easy going and can tolerate me studying Buddhism. But Christians just want to save me so much they kept telling me all Buddhas are Satan.
Dude, I do think your God exist and I respect that. Can you respect my believes that there's reincarnation and Buddhas? I didn't try to persuade you that your God is fake and the bible is a long, bloody tale.
Don't give me real life examples of your ex-Buddhist friends having shitty lives. All humans have shitty lives, it's the humans that's the problem. Regardless of which religion.
After a week of full work schedule both musical and otherwise, I really need to resume my morning routine of reciting Buddha's name and a healthy dose of series catching up.
Oh yeah, maybe some practising!

Planning on no plan
6 more days before departure, no itinerary.
I'd figure there are so many hostels and hotels around, there's bound to be a place to stay regardless where I go.
I can always revisit towns that I've been already, since there's always something I've missed.
Plus traveling by train and buses are so convenient.
So far, I think I can center on Kaoshiong for my junk, since I know I can stay there till at least the end of May.
It'll be an adventurous trip~
Or not =P

To heath!
After 3 weeks of abstinence from coffee, I finally had a cup today.
It's mainly used to wash away the icing on the very sweet red velvet cake in my mouth.
Gosh, how much I missed coffee!!
I have to control my intake now, no daily espressos, only 1 max in a day and maybe 3 days a week.
It doesn't affect me as much as the junk and spicy foods that I've been having.
Now THAT'S very hard to resist.
Iron pill by night, blood pressure pill by day.
Already sounding like an old person...
The tinnitus is still there, but the double tones are less frustrating - probably I'm getting used to it by now.
There's nothing that a human body can't adjust to, even annoyances.

Going deaf
6th day of my half deafness.
The first 3 days my left ear felt like a mild congestion, the kind that you'd get from a blocked sinus.
Then 4th day and on ringing started.
Last night I finally went and got an over-the-counter kit to do an ear flush, which didn't work.
Did another flush today and still nothing.
Sleeping doesn't correct anything, maybe just restarted from a less muted version and worked its way back to complete muteness.
Yesterday's orchestra rehearsal was tough. I kept hearing the winds play and my ear would ring semitones.
Pop music in the car was nicer, at least I can hear harmonies.
Tonight's rehearsal was a challenge too since it's chamber music so I'm completely exposed.
The receptionist at my GP's office couldn't fit me with a better time, so I'm stuck with next Monday morning.
I'm going to blame her if my left ear becomes permanently deaf.

One life to live
I think I have the slowest mind out of all my friends and family.
It's not until a couple years ago, when I was taking a shower (where all my epiphanies happened), that I realized there's only one go at this life time.
For some bizarre unknown reason, I've always thought I could redo my life at a certain time and everything can start anew. And I can have a different role, do a different job, and learn a different skill.
Guess those RPGs I played really messed up my head!
But yes, now I know I'm stuck with what I have, it's not so bad afterall.
I guess my life is a pretty good one, compared to the less fortunate ones.
